Privacy – Transparency

We will not give your personal information to any outside entity. We keep our donors’ records on our servers in a database to which only our NPTechprojects team as access.

For communication purposes with our subscribers via email, we upload first name and email address to MailChimp, which we selected as our email service provider. We use other online and offline software tools for our ongoing operation. Here is a list of services, how we use it and a link to the privacy policy.

What other tools do we use?

GiveWP plugin on self-hosted WordPress site – Donor Management, including payment history and address information: GiveWP plugin for WordPress, located on our secure website. (this privacy policy)

Stripe.com – Payment information: we submit email address + credit card information to Stripe.com for payment processing and storage.

Checkout Users

When you use Stripe Checkout on a merchant’s website to store your payment credentials, we will gather and store your payment card information, your email address, your mobile phone number, and billing and shipping address. We will use this information to complete purchases that you choose to make on other websites or applications that also use Stripe Checkout, but only with your permission. We may also share your contact information, but not your card information, with merchants as part of your purchases. We will not share this information with other third parties except as a necessary part of providing our Website and Services. You should carefully review merchants’ privacy policies to better understand how each uses your information.

Eventbrite – Event management for in-person events and webinars. Eventbrite’s Privacy Policy

We collect first name, last name, email address as you provide them to Eventbrite and add them to our Mailchimp subscriber’s list.

QuickBooks – accounting, on the local network behind a firewall.

Email and office documents – We use Google for Nonprofits services. Google’s Privacy Policy

Google Analytics – measuring traffic on our website

Through this service, we might obtain knowledge of your IP address, information on devices and location will be collected as well as your Internet Service provider service, and if you come through a link from a different site, we will know which web page’s a link you followed. All information is collected anonymously, which means we don’t have any personal identifying information through Google Analytics.   Google’s Privacy Policy

Landbot.io

Our #nptechedu schedule of Nonprofit Technology online webinars and courses are also reachable via Landbot.io to save you time finding the right courses. Your interactions with the bot will be stored on their servers. We will destroy them there every months, after we export them, anonymize them and add them in aggregate from to our analytics spreadsheet. The data will be used to improve on the bot interaction and for new decision to create new services.
