Jim O’Reilley and Birgit Pauli-Haack are responding to a common question, how can we build a collaboration tool and process using Google Drive and what features should we expect from it? Since this can be a critical topic in geographies like ours where Board Members may vacation in the North during the summer months, we will include tips for managing a board when some are not physically present.
We are discussing Google for Nonprofits simply because of the low cost (free), and the ability to communicate, collaborate and secure your work within Google Drive. We use it all the time and find it to be efficient and very easy.
