Birgit is just back from the 2017 Nonprofit Technology conference where most of the mentioned awards were presented. She describes her experiences as Community Organizer for Techsoup and NTEN at the conference.
The NTEN Award went to Emily Weinberg, The NTEN Lifetime Achievement award went to Yesenia Sotelo, the first guest of our podcast, in episode 5. The next award was the DoGooder Awards for nonprofit video storytelling. Also presented at NTC the Antonio Pizzigati Prize to Taylor Downs, And the Care2 Impact Award to Grey2K. The Rob Stuart Memorial award went to Mother Jones. And Classy announced their Finalist for the innovation award.
